MONTHLY STEAM CHALLENGE

Each month an optional Family STEAM challenge will be sent out to all families.

STEAM stands for Science, Technology, Engineering, Art & Math. STEAM challenges connect content areas and offer students an opportunity to practice higher level thinking skills while using engineering practices. As students construct their creations they are encouraged to plan, test and improve their designs.

Monthly challenges will have simple instructions and use items that can be found at home, materials from nature or the recycling bin.

When finished with a STEAM challenge, email me a video/picture of it. I will display the videos/photographs in slideshows on my website and share them at monthly All School Community Meetings.
